i believe somali pirate was a group that was formed because of poverty. the first time they thought they had the power was when they told the ships to stop dropping poisin stuff into their sea, which harms there sea life.
so after is been stopped, they thought they had the power, so began to kidnap the people in the ship that went past there sea every time.
