Who are the alpha angels of alpha phi alpha fraternity if the alpha kappa alpha?

A group of females, usually on college campuses, who support the programs of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. They can be counted on to aid in the fraternity's programs and social events. They can be Greek or non-Greek. Alpha Kappa Alpha is the first traditionally Black sorority. Because of this distinction, they are regarded as the "sisters" of Alpha Phi Alpha, the first traditionally Black fraternity. AKA's have and are committed to their own programs. The relationship with their "brothers" has always been cordial and supportive.

First of all we were never a group of females on a campus, we were very supportive and did participate in our bruhs functions. Most Alpha angels are AKA's, and they are not real brother and sister. The Sigmas and the Zetas are the only true family in greek history. The Alpha angels are the sweethearts or little sista's to the men of A phi A. We pledged just like everyone else, we had a bank account like everyone else, we stepped in stepshows like everyone else, we had more paraphernalia then anybody else, we had fundraisers and lots of unity, WE ARE ALSO INCORPORATED! Alpha angels have not existed for over at least 18 plus years. You might want to Google us to see what we were because the true pledging process ended in 1990!

The Alpha Angels Inc was founded in December 4 1962 by 7 Founders of Alpha Phi Alpha in which there are 4 Angels that was the beginning of little sisters of the Alpha Phi Alpha Inc. Later, on in the early 1989-90 they became as a separate entity that is no longer associated with the fraternity. ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA and the ALPHA PHI ALPHA Fraternity is officially the sisters and brothers.Even though AKA's, too have little brothers known as Spinx. Alpha Angels is an Non Greek organization with the same purpose of sister hood, community service, scholarship. Years ago Alpha Angels was also was identified as spouses of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity members and is also known as Alpha Sweet hearts. Alpha Angels is all so under different names that are establish College and University campus usually under the chapters that the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity originally established when they where under the same entity. ALPHA ANGELS as of 1990 have established as an independent organization which is spread nationally. AKA is not to ever be compared with the Alpha Angels. Understanding the past will help you identify why it is several non Greek organization that are linked with all Greek Organization. All non Greek has inspired many to either to farther there steps into the Greek world. Alpha Angels, Omega Gems, Kappa Sweet hearts, Sigma Sweet hearts, Phi-etes and others or non Greek organization that are females motivated with sister hood, scholarship, and involved in several community service, promotes several health awareness. We are not duplicated and we are not Greek with any Greek level. If anything several of are sisters have surpassed and have became apart of Female Greek organization and still claim the identity and the experience of being non Greek. Non Greek has always been supportive of any Greek organization. Those that are not educated about the past will always make negative views due to not knowing there own past and that is why it has been a difference of the past and the present. Greeks that have been labeled as paper pledges may not be aware of actual history. All negative rumors or on a personal level and is not affiliated with any Greek and Non Greek organization, neither organization promotes violence. if a person is making a comments that are not positive it is not with any association with the purpose of any organization. The goal is that a person that embraces and empower their knowledge about all organization become empowered and learn to educate that all organizations serves as one purpose to come to a common ground with sister and brother hood. When you are empowered you learn not to discredit a little sister or little brother organization. Non Greek gives you the experience the expectation on what they should ,should not do out of character or they are required to contribute a positive image once they are accepted in a Greek organization. Some may think it is no social networking connection and I say that is untrue statement, With every non Greek, social club, or Greek it is a network possibility. Alpha Angels as of today has an National Organization and prior to that other campus may have already established that within the College or University levels ,and Alpha Angels on various campus has already established after College life.
