Actually, yes. Many people do not know this, but cyberbullying can lead a person to suicide, or killing the person who is doing this to them if they find out who it is. It can… also make a person feel unwanted, and may make them think everyone hates them and does not want to be around them or can make them feel like they do not deserve to be alive. so in many ways, yes, cyberbullying is very harmful to a person.
Cyberbullying is a compound word. It was created by merging the word cyber, which references to the internet and computer, and bullying. It is spelled as one single word.
There are many pro-active activities and discussions that parents can have with their children in order to avoid incidents of cyberbullying or to address any early signs that …it may be happening. How to protect your child:Talk with your child about netiquette, how to behave and communicate politely over the Internet and other mobile devices. Importantly, teach children to never say something about someone online that they wouldn't say to that person face-to-face. Bullying others, online or in person, is never appropriate behavior. As mostly cyberbullying happens on social networking sites, so be "friend" with your child on these networksMonitor your child's internet activity with an internet monitoring software like Safetyweb (requires no download or installation, thus easy to use) so that you can make sure your child is not involved in such issue and is safe. Make sure your child understands that comments and images posted on the Internet can be long-lasting and have a global audience.Teach your child to keep the passwords to their online accounts private. Create passwords that are a combination of letters and numbers and are difficult to guess. Passwords should not be shared with friends, not even a best friend.Talk to children about how to handle strong emotions, such as anger. It is never appropriate to send a message or post a comment on the Internet when you are angry or emotional. If your child receives an angry or taunting message, teach them to refrain from responding and to tell a responsible adult. Responding to these types of messages could encourage a bully to continue to pick on the victim.Know how much time your child is spending on the Internet and mobile device.Enjoy the Internet with your child. If you are unable to sit down together at the computer, at least know what activities they are doing online. Consider installing parental control software to monitor your child's activities and limit the Web sites that are available.Encourage your local schools to educate the students on cyber ethics and the law.
A broken haert,an hopeless feeling, an unsfe feeling in cyberspace and more safe in your home and or room.
It can cause low self esteem and even cause someone to kill themselves. For example, awhile back these two girls were friends. Then the mom of one of the girls pretended… to be a boy on myspace and the other girl liked him. So then one day the mom posing as the boy said some terrible things to her. Then one day they found that the girl hung herself in her closet. It can also cause someone who is always bullied to snap and kill themselves or others.
Cyberbullying Cyber; to mean electronically, by way of virtual computer over the internet or airwaves. Cyberbullying is bullying by texting and emailing people to embarrass t…hem and hurt their feelings. Texting is the most popular way. Cyber or internet bullying is where you are being bullied over the computer. This can be done by people leaving messages on websites, Bebo's, Facebook, my-space and even general bullying over messenger programs. This can really hurt a persons feelings and is not a good thing to do as it just shows cowardliness. Most bullies, when stood up to, will back off and leave you alone. If you are being bullied you can however save the comments or conversation and show it to police officers. It is unlikely that they will do a lot but it can result in them confiscating the bully's computer and things similar to that. Cyberbullying is when you go to places like chat rooms, or other places where you can connect with people and the people that you talk to say mean things or offensive types of stuff or sometimes sexual comments and things that just make you feel uncomfortable. An example would be if you were talking to someone you didn't know in a chat room and they say " GIVE ME YOUR ADDRESS OR I WILL COME AND KILL YOU!" something like that. It is very scary and cyberbullying should be stopped and if that is happening to you, tell someone you trust and let them take care of it and don't go to that place again! Cyberbullying involves recurring or repeated harm willfully inflicted through the medium of electronic text. In order for it to be cyber-bullying, the intent must be to cause …emotional distress, and there must be no legitimate purpose to the communication. Cyberbullying can be as simple as continuing to send e-mail to someone who has said they want no further contact with the sender, but it may also include threats, sexual remarks, pejorative labels (i.e., hate speech). Cyber-bullies may disclose victims' personal data (e.g. real name or workplace/schools) at websites or forums, or may attempt to assume the identity of a victim for the purpose of publishing material in their name that defames or ridicules them. Some may post victims' photos, or victims' edited photos like defaming captions or pasting victims' faces on nude bodies. One famous forum for disclosing personal data or photos to "punish" the "enemies" is Hong Kong Golden Forum. Cyberbullying is when you're on a site or MSN or some sort of cyber talking site. And then they start talking to you, and soon become so nasty and start to call you names and start using unsuitable words. A cyberbully is a type of bully that does his work online. His/her words can be so rude and hurtful that they may be capable of affecting your behavior. Sometimes their words hurt as much as being physically bullied. Such acts should be reported to Supervisors. Supervisors will let them off with a warning first, but if this does not end, they will be blocked. But, unfortunately, cyberbullies may make a new account, and continue their acts of violence. But they will be blocked again. Avoid these bullies. If you feel that you are being cyberbullied on this site, Please report it in the community forum, or to any supervisor. Action will be taken.
Cyber bullying has become increasingly easy due to the increase of technology, the easy access to the technology and the vast number of people involved in these technolo…gies for social reasons. Mobile phones and internet messaging(s) are the easiest ways to cyber bully people, particularly due to the fact that the victims are reluctant to withdraw from this community because of its social opportunities (it gives them an opportunity to talk to other people, not just bullies). However, this helps the bullies because it gives them easy access to the victim 24/7. It also makes the bully feel more safe as there is no direct physical contact and there is a general assumption that nothing bad can happen if you didnt 'really' do it (some people find the differenciation between internet and real life hard).
Nobody started cyberbullying. I mean, did one person invent regular bullying? No. As long as there have been humans, there have been humans bullying each other. Once the i…nternet became popular, in the early-to-mid 1990s, bullies discovered they could do ten times as much damage on the internet, and with far less consequences than they faced for their bullying in real life.
Kids cyberbully because of different reasons. To get revenge or for fun to get poplular. Of for no reason at all. It can make the victim feel unwanted and isolated from their …fellow peers and friends. To stop them is quite hard since some kids don't take these sort of things serously
here are a couple of things to do when your being cyberbullied: 1. If there asking for your e-mail address, your home address, or phone number, DO NOT and I repeat …DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM. 2. Don't keep it to yourself and/or get worked up about it. Report them to someone who runs the site and tell your parents.
A stakeholder in a business is anyone that has an interest of some kind in the business. In a school, some of the main stakeholders would be Pupils, Employees, the Government,… the Local community. The pupils main interest is to get a good education, the employees would be interested in getting the best out of pupils and passing on knowledge. Things like traffic, litter an house prices may concern the local community so they would be interested in this as well as being interested in the benefits such as employment. Stakeholders include: Financers for a business would be interested in getting money back that they are owed with a good profit gained. Customers in a business are interested in benefiting from services/goods. Suppliers want to get a good price for their supplies but need to be at a competitive price to make customers buy from them. They want also to sell large quantities of stock with further orders. The local Community are concerned with the way the business affects them. e.g traffic problems could occur. Employees are interested in getting a good regular wage with job security. Owners want to make a profit to get a good return on their investment.
there most likely just mad about something that happened to them in the past.
People cyberbully because they want to feel good about them selves. When people get hurt inside, they take it out on people that they do not know. (Most of the time people don…'t do that) Cyberbullies can threaten you. If you get something you don't know, don't answer it even if it's really mean. If you do, you can get in trouble too.
Pink and blue are the official colors of bullying.
