Cell nucleus discovery . The question is debatable as Thonius Philips van Leeuwenhoek (October 24, 1632 - August 30, 1723 )1, Dutch scientist first observed the cell nuleu…s. "In 1682 he clearly described the nucleus within the red blood cells of fish, and in 1683 he noticed the sedimentation of erythrocytes from a suspension and their lysis upon addition of water."2. It was Robert Brown (December 21, 1773-June 10, 1858) 3 a Scottish Botanist who observed and gave the name "cell nucleus". Brown, is best known for the discovery of Brownian motion random movement within fluids due to molecular energy of fluid and also used as a mathematical model for Stochastic processes (random i.e. financial markets, atmospheric events). 2,4 Some sources site Brown and not van Leeuwenhoek as the discoverer. 5 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anton_van_Leeuwenhoek 1 . http://www.bookrags.com/Anton_van_Leeuwenhoek 2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Brown_(botanist) 3 http://www.brianjford.com/wbbrowna.htm 4 http://science.discovery.com/convergence/100discoveries/big100/biology.html 5
Yes, all animal cells (except for mature mammalian red blood cells) contain a nucleus. Mammalian red blood cells have a nucleus initially, but do not have one once mature. …yes yea ONLY animal cells have nucleus. plant cells are the kind that dont. learned that in fifth grade.
No, when red blood cells are mature, they do not have a nucleus.
Robert Brown in 1831. Hope this helps! -Zoey Brown
cell discovery: cell was discovered by Robert hooke in 1665.As he was observing a piece of cork under the microscope he noticed small chambers like honey comb in them.those… chambers were called cells by ROBERT BROWN.Later another scientist ROBERT BROWN discovered the nucleus in the cell of orchid. A German scientist SHWANN discovered the animal cell with nucleus.
It is the cell's "brain."
yes they do have a cell nucleus. the nucleus controls every activity that happens in the cell.
Amongst other things, DNA can be found in the nucleus of an animal cell.
yes. otherwise, they would be bacteria.
Red blood cell.
i don't know but its like the DNA
Yes, they do.
It is sort of like what the heart does for the body, only for a cell
all cells have a nucleus. The nucleus holds genetic information in the form of genes, and controls the cells function, the production of cell organells and holds information f…or protein synthesis. Animal cells have a nucleus for the above reasons
The animal cell is an eukaryotic cell ,a cell with an organised structure and a distinct nucleus. So its nucleus is surrounded by a nuclear membrane.
The Nucleus or Nuclear Membrane is a lipid bi-layer that serves as a physical barrier. It encloses all of the genetic material in the cell. The membrane also allows transfer o…f material from inside the nucleus to the cytoplasm. Lastly, it separates content that way it can send and receive substances, such as mRNA.
