∙ 7y agoWell, originally probably Native Americans, then later it was a part of the land obtained from Great Britain in the Oregon Treaty of 1846. Then later it became Idaho when it was adopted as a state.
The first permanent US settlement in Idaho was established by the Mormons (members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) in 1860.
