There is no singular individual which brought over electronic and techno music to the United States. There are always arguments about who founded it or who truly created it but in reality the popular artists of the time are the ones who truly introduced it to America. But understand, techno and electronic music in general is still largely dominated by Europe. In fact, that is why Euro and Electronica are often synonymous terms. Germany in particular is the major rave town. So while the techno scene is growing in America it still is predominantly found in Europe.
