Jesus did not develop Christianity but He "Is" Christianity. To understand how Christ is in relation to Christianity is to understand the Law of Identity. And to know Him is to accept Who He is by who He describes Himself to Be, it lends to it in understanding of Who & What He Is. Jesus Christ identifies Himself and is described by others as follows:

Jesus Christ is:

  1. Beginning

  2. The way, the truth and the life.

  3. End

(John 14:6) Jesus saith to him, `I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one doth come unto the Father, if not through me;'

Jesus when He says, `I am the way, and the truth, and the life', He does not mean that He possesses the truth or is speaking the truth but He means it in a much more literal "way", that He is Truth itself. And because this is true then all that comes from Him is Truth. Even the use of the word "way" may allude to the more literal meaning. In that, He is referring to the way (path) and that path is made up of Truth (Christ), and if you live and follow the Truth then you will experience Reality, whereas Truth is what makes up Reality.

(John 18:36-38), 37Pilate, therefore, said to him, `Art thou then a king?' Jesus answered, `Thou dost say [it]; because a king I am, I for this have been born, and for this I have come to the world, that I may testify to the truth; every one who is of the truth, doth hear my voice.'

In other words, He is saying, I am the Truth, and Who better to testify of the truth than Truth itself.

All The Bible tells us about Jesus is that he was a Jew. So he probably had dark eyes and dark hair. And, since 1 Corinthians 11:14 says it is a shame for a man to have long hair, Jesus probably had short hair.
