Even when he went gaga over Mrs. Puff, his cash register heart overcame his emotions and Mrs. Puff gave him the heave ho. Without Spongebob doing the cooking and any other actual work at the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs would be up the creek and he's not going to mess that up. Do you really think that if Mr. Krabs made a move on Spongebob, that Spongebob would even get it? Not likely.
