After 7 years of academics at a gurukulam, he ventured into setting up Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala. Based on a framework of home grown wisdom and intuition, he decided to brave his passion when modern concepts of marketing was much in wanting. Today, he is credited as a pioneer in institutionalising the concept of Ayurvedic medicine.
