Born in the year 1961 he attended the rural public school in Gobles Michigan. Later moved to an even smaller school in Bloomingdale Michigan at the age of 10. The lake house was always his fathers dream and the three boys Al, Paul, Todd enjoyed lake sports. They had many country experiences from playing with cows, bailing hay, and learning to water ski. Paul enjoyed the long walks in the woods and the beauty around.

The boys had motor bikes, bicycles, guns, fishing equipment, and snow. Paul learned how to be an avid swimmer and began sketching early on. His sketches were hidden away and his mother thought he should attend a summer program for early drawers. Paul attended the drawing classes the summer of 1973. Media was color pencils and pastel. Most of his early pencil sketches were lost in his travels.

Paul attended the community college and local university where he studied business and computer science. He took several art classes along the way and continued to sketch use pencil.

Around 2010 after several years of raising his own family Paul setup a studio in house and began working with acrylics. He has several paintings that have been distributed to family and friends. And the art continues today.
