Harry's wand broke previously in the book. After escaping Malfoy Manor he stole Draco's wand. During the battle of Hogwarts Voldemort died as he cast the avada kadavra curse using the Elder wand at harry but as Harry possessed Malfoy s wand (harry now the rightful owner of this wand and Draco Malfoy the true owner of the elder wand as he was the last person to defeat the elder wand by disarming Dumbledore) the elder wands cast curse rebounded back of Harry's trademark - expelliarmous and as Voldemort cast the killing curse it effectively resulted in him killing himself.

∙ 14y agoNagini, Voldemorts snake - The reason why is because Snape was the one that killed Dumbledore and Voldemort thought that the only thing stopping him from getting The Elder Wand/Deathstick, was Snape. It was most natural!
