To the best of my knowledge The Bible only has record of one. James' murder is mentioned in the book of Acts ch. 12 verse 2. Jesus' prophecy of Peter's death is told in the book of John ch.21 verse 18-19. The Apostle John was exiled to the Greek island Patmos and is believed to have died in the Turkish regions of old age. Church traditions however show that 11 of the 12 were martyred. Hope this helps.
Catholic tradition holds that 11 of the apostles were martyrs. The only exception being Saint John. However, the Roman authorities tried unsuccessfully to kill him and, instead, sent him into exile on Patmos.
All the Apostles were martyred except John, who died of old age, and the Apostle Paul was beheaded by Nero in 67-68AD [Roman and Hebrew calendars do not coincide].
St. Thomas was one of Our Lord's 12 apostles. He preached the Gospel and eventually was martyred in India. The early Christians considered any person who died the death of a martyr to be a saint.
Matthew had been a corrupt tax collector but gave up that position and joined Our Lord as one of the 12 apostles. He is known as the author of one of the four canonical gospels. He was martyred for his faith - an automatic ticket to heaven and sainthood.

Most of the 12 apostles were fishermen, simple people not educated.
Stephen is the first to be martyred for Christ, I believe it was James that was the first of the 12 apostles to be martyred.
Stephen was the first disciple to be martyred. He was stoned to death. All the apostles but John were martyred.
Saint James the Greater was killed by King Herod and the first of the apostles to die. He was martyred in AD44.
Why would you choose St. John for your confirmation name?

We know nothing about what happened to any of the apostles, except perhaps Judas. There are various traditions from the second to the fourth century that claim that all the apostles were martyred, except the apostle John. These traditions are not to be taken as historical accounts.

12 apostles
Jesus himself found and selected the 12 apostles.
Jesus had 12 apostles.
St Bartholomew (also known as Nathaniel) was one of the first 12 Apostles. He was martyred in Armenia, but there are a bunch of stories on the way he was killed. One is that he was whipped, skinned alive and beheaded; another says that he was drowned in the sea; yet another tells of his being crucified head down. I'm sure that there are others that I don't know.
