Many people have predicted the end of the world. If you take a look around you will see that they have all got it wrong. They will continue to do so. It is not possible to predict the end of the world without some physical evidence.
the Mayan only ended their calender in 2012 and people just assumed that was when the world would end. but they also thought it would end in 2000 and look where we are today. the world won't end until everyone has heard about God. The Mayan people said that from that date things would change dramatically, in the world, somebody said, it but God has nothing to do with the end of the world, he promised he would never destroy it again.
The Mayans. That is when their calendar ends. They predicted the world was going to end on December 21st or 23rd, 2012! But it may just be a change in the life that we know.
Of course the scientists and people because they the Mayan ends on december 21 2012
the people that feel like predicting it.....
the egyptians predicted the world was going to end in 2012
This question is well discussed by all category of people. Entire solar family and galaxies are interdependent. Major change may take place, but not total end as per our terminology.
The Mayans
It was predicted that the world will end at 11 minute's past 11 on December 21st 2012,but they have predicted the world will come to end many times before and it has not and it probably will not for another 3-5 billion years.
Harold Camping, a Christian radio host, predicted the end of the world would occur on May 21, 2011. He based his prediction on numerical calculations and biblical interpretations. However, his prediction did not come true, and he later revised it to a new date, which also did not materialize.
According to the myth that the world would end in 2012, a Mayan calendar predicted the aligning of all the planets in our solar system, which, according to the legend, would have ended the world as we know it. There were many other offshoots of the same theory, but they all proved to be false.
It is possible that the world will end December 21, 2012 during the Apocalypse but if the world does not end on December 21 2012 then we may never know
I have actually spoken to a mayan. 2012 will not be the end of the world first off. He said in 2012 there will be a change, but it will not be the end of the world. We do not exactly know what is going to happen on 2012. some people say world is going to end but some say it is not going to happen. The truth is if its really going to happen, before that particular incident happens several disastrous would take place. Hence if we are patient we would come to know the truth.
I believe he predicted there would be catastrophic world events and unnatural weather patterns. He predicted the end would come in the year 3026 (or around there).

The predicted release date for Fallout Online is 2012.
The ancient Mayans had predicted that would happen on December 21, 2012- but modern scientists have done research that proves the sun will not turn red until a few billion years from now. The world will be around until that happens as the sun is what supports all life on the planet.
it is a theory that the world will end on 2012 i dont belive it but the end of the world would probaly be from a metor or a massive volcano euruption
No.
There is no way of proving that the world will end in 2012.
The person who predicted that would come back was Edmund Halley.
Halley did, that's why it's named after him.
There is absolutely no way to know, for certain, if something bad (or the world ending) will happen in 2012. Many cultures (both alive and dead) as well as many individuals have predicted that bad things (or the world ending) will happen. But, as previously stated, there is no way to really know what will happen. As far as the year, it will come and pass as time has and will.
Jean Dixon made predictions of "doom" in the years to come throughout the 90's. She departed from here for the other side in 1997.
I'm not a big believer in coincidences. It is probably not a coincidence, but a matter of great minds knowing that in the year 2012 the Earth will 'wobble' on it's axis like it does every 26,000 years. The Mayans knew the same thing. I'm not sure exactly what it means when the Earth wobbles but most of us here in the world are going to find out come December 21, 2012. Hang on!
