Bruce Springsteen wrote the Pointer Sisters' 1979 incendiary hit "Fire," originally intending it for Elvis Presley. Robert Gordon and many others also recorded the song, in addition to Springsteen himself.
As far as I know, it was written and performed by Crazy World of Arthur Brown.
Kenny Rogers, Nero jOSE FELICIANO, LIGHT MY FIRE Jimmy Hendricks wrote "Fire", The Doors wrote "Light My Fire", also Arthur Brown sang a song that went "I am the God of hell fire, and I bring you...Fire"
