John Adams (October 30, 1735 - July 4, 1826) was the 2nd President of the United States. (1797 - 1801).

He married Abigail Smith (November 22, 1744 - October 28, 1818), his third cousin on October 25, 1764.

Their son was John Quincy Adams (July 11, 1767 - February 23, 1848), the 1st son and 2nd child.

He would later become the 6th President of the United (1825-1829).

John Adams

John Adams (October 30, 1735 - July 4, 1826) was an American politician and the second President of the United States (1797-1801), after being the first Vice President (1789-1797) for two terms. He is regarded as one of the most influential Founding Fathers of the United States. He was also the first US ambassador to Great Britain and to the Netherlands, prior to being elected Vice President.
