While I, a biblical scholar do not believe that Christ visited North America and had golden plates for His message. When they came to Moses from God himself, they were stone, not gold...although gold was available. This flies in the face of Jesus' message as for him, wealth was an anathema...a disaster for the soul of men...Further, where Christ was in those three days after his death is covered in the Bible and does not mention Mormon or any earthly visits beyond those to his disciples in that period of time.
