My American Cocker, Jed, is now sixteen years old. He's still doing really well and is just an amazing dog.

I'm a member of an online cocker group. We have had members with American cockers as old as 17-18 years.

My dog Lord Charles Zachary was born Jan 20,1992 ans is still bumping around. that makes him 16 years 2 months. he sleeps 22 hours a day and needs to be watched when he is out side. I have heard come cockers have lived to be over 18 years. he is no puppy but he is part of the family. 16 years x 7 dogs years makes Zack 112 in human years. today is 03/28/2008.
