Type your answer here... Private Thomas Trotter and Private Moses Gentry were his drivers, but I haven't a clue ast to the dates of their service. I do, however know Moses Gentry lived in Birmingham, Alabama, and passed away in 2000. He is buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.

I don't know the name of his driver during WWII, but Horace Woodring was his driver at the fatal truck crash. His original driver had enough time in Europe to go home.

My grandad, John Giles Hall was also a driver of Montgomery (or Monty) He used to tell an anecdote of people saluting the car when he was driving it alone and he would return with two fingers.

Clarence Hintz was my uncle, my mother’s brother. Today, I spent Mother’s Day with my 96 year old mother and we looked at photos of my uncle driving General Patton. My mother has 2 swords hanging on her wall that she inherited after my uncles passing.
