General Patton's original driver in WWII was Warren George Schumacher of Richland Center, WI. Schumacher was subsequently replaced, and was not the driver involved in the General's fatal vehicle accident.

∙ 13y agoType your answer here... Private Thomas Trotter and Private Moses Gentry were his drivers, but I haven't a clue ast to the dates of their service. I do, however know Moses Gentry lived in Birmingham, Alabama, and passed away in 2000. He is buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.

∙ 11y agoI don't know the name of his driver during WWII, but Horace Woodring was his driver at the fatal truck crash. His original driver had enough time in Europe to go home.

∙ 11y agoOne of Patton's driver's during WWII was Ugo D. Arnoldi, a week or so after Arnoldi's tour ended the next driver was shot and killed driving the Jeep.
