USA Apollo 8 (with 3 men Mr. Frank Borman, Jim Lowell, and John Anders) circled in the Moon (and did not land) in December 1968. USA Apollo 11 with Neil Armstrong (first to walk on the Moon), Buzz Aldrin (2nd to walk on the Moon), and Michael Collins (who circled the Moon in the command module), went there in July 1969.
What mission are you referring to? There were only 3 men in each Apollo crew. 2 landed while the third circled the moon in the command module.
The first three men to land on the moon were Neil Armstrong, Edwin Aldrin and Charles Conrad.
Armstrong and Aldrin walked on the moon first, but Collins was there too, he just stayed in the capsule. All three were from the United States.
John F. Kennedy sent 3 men on the apollo 11: Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, Michael Collins, and Neil Armstrong. four days later Aldrin and Armstrong landed on the moon Collins stayed in orbit. On july 20, armstrong was the first man on the moon.
