The writers are assumed to be Matthew - one of the original Apostles, Mark - a Roman disciple but not an Apostle, Luke - a missionary companion of Paul but not Apostle, and John - one of the three Apostles (Peter, James, and John) who were the innermost circle and present with Christ at the Mount of Transfiguration.
Interestingly, the order of the gospels is quite different from the order in which they were written. The first was probably Luke, written some years after the book of Acts, with Matthew written close to the same time. Mark came next. The Gospel of John was written much later. Although placed 4th in the New Testament, it was one of the LAST books written - possibly coming some years after John penned what we now have as the book of Revelations. According to early tradition, Revelations was composed near the end of The Roman Emperor Domitian's reign, around the year 95 AD. Others contend for an earlier date, 68 or 69 AD, in the reign of Nero or shortly thereafter. This earlier date would place it about 20 years before the Gospel was written. The majority of modern scholars accept one of these two dates, with most accepting the Domitianic one. The main reason Revelations shows up last is because Martin Luther included it as one of the books where he doubted their authenticity (the others being Hebrews, James, and Jude) so he stuck it at the end. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Epistles of John are generally assumed to post date all of these books, being written between 100 and 115 AD - at least 20 to 25 years after the other books of the New Testament.
Mark was one of the writers of the Gospel accounts. The Gospel according to Mark is the second one.
There is not such Gospel in the Bible.
The word "Gospel" means a proclamation preached by Jesus Christ. The 4 gospel writers are the 4 Apostles of Christ who recorded these preachings for us in the Bible. They are gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are placed at the beginning of the New Testament and make up about half its total text.
There are four gospels in the Bible, each written by a different author, so there are four gospel writers. All the gospels were written anonymously and only attributed to the apostles whose names they now bear, later in the second century. There is no good reason to believe that these were the actual authors of the gospels, so we do not know the names of the four gospel writers. John's Gospel might have been written by more than one evangelist.
The Evangelists (you spelled it wrong!) are the four Gospel writers. The four Gospel writers are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Saint John (he wrote the gospel of john in the bible) is the evangelist who was not part of the synoptic writers. The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke were known as the synoptic writers because they had many of the same stories in their gospels.
Mathew, Mark, Luke and John wrote the gospel.

all of them.
The phrase "We are the Bible that the world reads" is not in the Bible, partly because the writers of the Bible used "the scriptures" or "the Word" to refer to what we call the Bible. This phrase possibly comes from this quote by St. Francis of Assisi: "Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words."
narrative history, poetry, wisdom literature, prophetic literature, gospel, oratory, epistle.
