'Landslide' was written by Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac and released on that band's self-titled 1975 Album. It has since been covered by both the Dixie Chicks and the Smashing Pumpkins.
This song has been remade many many times by Phil Collins, Toni Gazonga, the Dixie Chicks and others, but it was originally written by Lamont Dozier, Brian Holland and Eddie Holland with lyrics by Diana Ross.
The New Grass Revival. It was on their album called "Friday Night in America", released in 1989. Lead vocal by John Cowan. It was also on a Garth Brooks album called "In Pieces" released in 1993. The song was written by Dennis Linde, who also wrote Elvis Presley's "Burning Love" and also wrote the Dixie Chicks' "Goodbye Earl".
