∙ 13y agoTechnically, it was T.S.Eliot. Go read his book Old Possom's Book of Practical Cats. That's where the musical came from. Although, Trevor Nunn, I believe it was, altered some of the words so it would fit and wrote some of the additional material like Memory. But still, it was T.S.Eliot who wrote the lyrics to pretty much all of it, including the songs of my two favorite cats(who I still can't decide between), Mistoffolees and Skimbleshanks...
