Why are body image concerns so dangerous?
They are very dangerous because you can develop mental illnesses such as anorexia or bulimia which can kill you. People with these illnesses can also develop things such as depression and these take years to come back from.
The response to that question is a matter of opinion since there are no hard *facts* with which to answer it, but it is my opinion that it is because of the attention given to… "thin" celebrities. The media constantly glamorizes the image of being overly thin and makes it appear as if a person has no worth if they don't meet the standards of Hollywood and the fashion industry. This is a very shallow, mindless and unrealistic attitude. Unfortunately, many people of all ages allow themselves to be taken in by that idea. But for young people it is especially difficult because they already are concerned about body image. This is a normal stage of adolescence. Between the ages of approximately 10 and 18 one's body undergoes many changes. Adolescents normally feel self-conscious about the way they look to begin with, so if you add the nonsense that is pushed on them by the media every day, from every direction, then they are bound to feel dissatisfied unless they are "perfect". And guess what? Even the most so-called perfect person harbors dissatisfactions within themselves about how they look. It's human nature to think someone else has something better and the media feeds on our insecurities to sell their products. We are reminded daily by the media that in order to "be happy", one must be thin, rich, glamorous, and perfect. This is a dream world that has no basis in reality.
it is how you think you look but for most girls it is everyone but her opinion that count

\nbecause the whole world wants everyone to look the same. If every women were to look like one of those playboy models then the men would be set for life.
As in any society, you will have some individuals who are centered on image, beauty, power, etc. It is not particular to just the American society. The majority are more reali…ty based, and care about those issues that affect a way of life that is beneficial to all people. What the media promotes about Americans is really not reality in its most perfect and purest form.
What are the conditions necessary for equilibrium in so far as linear motion is concerned Cite examples of moving bodies in equilibrium?
First condition for equilibrium . Insofar as linear motion is concerned, a body is in equilibrium if there is no resultant force acting upon it, that is if the vector sum of a…ll the forces is zero. This condition is satisfied if the vector polygon representing all the external forces acting on the body is a closed figure. Equilibrant of a Set of Forces : This is defined as that single force that must be applied to keep a body in equilibrium when it is under the action of other forces. This equilibrant (sometimes called anti-resultant) must be equal in magnitude and opposite in direction to the resultant of the applied forces. http://blog.cencophysics.com/2009/08/composition-resolution-concurrent-forces-vector-methods/
body image means a person's idealized image of what their body is or should be like.
Don't over exercise.. It is also important to avoid medical conditions leading to weight loss eg. Bulimic, anorexic. These conditions can be both mental and physical.. Anot…her point would be to avoid drastic diets where food intakes is cut exponentially or a balanced diet is not obtained.. The most important thing here is to be happy with who you are!

Yes, Beryllium is toxic.
Because that is how big advertising and marketing firms build it, it's how big corporations want it, and it's how the media portrays it.
There are many things a parent can do to reduce the instances of eating disorders like anorexia in a teen concerned about body image. Most importantly is for the parent to enc…ourage their teen to live a healthy lifestyle. This includes a varried, full diet, and lots of exercise and healthy choices. A parent should also have positive self-esteem and positive self-image, and try to promote this towards their teen, too. As a whole, a parent can help their teen by complimenting or offering encouragement, and refraining from making mean comments based on physical features, appearances, or weight. It is also important to know the warning signs, and to get help for the teen if they think that there is a more serious problem.
It is directly involved with confidence-which is the key to good relationships, job productivity, and and mental health among other things.
