It is impossible to answer this question with an absolute certainty. Science cannot tell us how we were created or where we came from. Different people have different opinions about how or where we came from. There are many theories, most dominant of which are that we were created by a superior being (Jews, Christian, Muslims) and other theories that we got here through time and chemical reactions and chance (Evolution). Thus, in order to answer this question, one must look further into studying different beliefs about this topic.

Opinionmaybe god get bored and need something to play with? AswerIn the last paragraph, in the book of Revelation, God says He created us ' ...for His pleasure '. It seems that God was tired of being alone in the universe. How long this went on is anyones guess but that degree of lonliness likely fueled Gods desire to share His love with others. So He began creating.

  • It's because he wanted to test people.
  • God is love. People are God's answer for a recipient of that love.
Another answer:God created us [in His image] to... by the completion of His plan... be born as His Children into His Family [Elohim]. The Family of God.

"The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of GOD: and if Children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ..." (Rom.8:16-17).

This present "first phase" of life is indeed a "test"... to teach man the misery and suffering caused by his "sins" - our transgressions against God's Commandments:

"...Sin is the transgression of the law." (I John 3:4)

He's given man marriage and the family structure, not only to allow us to participate in the actual physical pro-creation of all the children of His future Family [the "clay" in which God molds and shapes the spirits of His Children]... but, among other things, to demonstrate to us what He is doing with man.

God is "being fruitful and multiplying" Himself. (Gen.1:28)

Another answer:Because He loves us and He wants us to serve Him here on earth, and to believe in His only Son that He sacrificed for us, so we can get to Heaven. He needs helpers on earth. that is why He made you, me, and every single other person that ever was, is, and will be. No one was a mistake.

The easiest way to explain it would be like human parents. People create children, become parents to give life to another being. The joy of that new life is the most rewarding experience on earth. Humans are meant to glorify God by their very existance.

He made us to praise Him and worship Him.

Answer:

God created them [male and female] with the same purpose in mind that He commanded of them -- TO HAVE CHILDREN!

"...in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply..." (Gen.1:27-28).

People "make babies!" And those babies are to one day become God's Family.

"...WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD... HEIRS OF GOD...and CO-HEIRS with CHRIST..." (Rom.8:16-17).

There is an entire universe [all things] waiting beyond the confines of the breatheable atmosphere of earth for the "reborn" immortal Children of God, once that obvious biblical Truth is finally revealed to their, presently, blinded and deceived minds and hearts.

"... He that overcometh [his physical limitations through the Spirit] SHALL INHERIT ALL THINGS [the universe is certainly included in 'all things']; and I will be his God, and HE SHALL BE MY SON." (Rev.21:7)

The Bible can't be any more plain than that! It's man's heart, however, that is unable to "believe" the Truth that's always been there.

"God [the Father]... hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son [Jesus Christ], WHOM HE HAS APPOINTED HEIR OF ALL THINGS, by whom also HE MADE THE WORLDS..." (Heb.1:1-2).

The above passages reveal [to any who choose to believe them], that Jesus Christ has "inherited the universe." And the rest of God's Children [Rom.8, above] shall "CO-INHERIT" with Him, when the Truth is finally revealed upon His return to earth.

"...if so be that we suffer with Him, that we MAY BE ALSO GLORIFIED TOGETHER." (Rom.8:17)

The vain, divided religions of this world have no idea what they worship... lost in the doubts, lies and hatreds of their god, the "Dragon" ["...which deceiveth the whole world..." - Rev.12:9].

The best that most of their blinded hearts seem to hope for, is to possibly become some kind of "eternal pet," wagging their tail at the feet of their master, forever praising and worshiping him. How boring would that be?

If you have a family of untold billions of children... thousands of thousands... you'd better have a little more to offer for them all to do for all eternity than lay around "praising you" all the time.

The Bible tells us what that will be. Our Father's business is "creating." He "makes things." So, His Children will "take over the Family Business"... and continue to create, once they are revealed. The universe is full of worlds to mold and shape and colonize and create LIFE upon for God's Family.

Let me put forward a suggestion to you for your consideration. God the Father sent Adam and Eve to procreate and to populate the earth. Among the children of our first parents there was once called Jesus, the most favored of all of Gods children.

After the death of Christ He would have returned to His Father in Heaven. Being perfect He also claimed to be a God in His own right and to follow on as his Father before Him, that is to populate other worlds of His own making and to His own design.

I would make this suggestion to you, if this is so, as with Christ, could it not also be so with the Father, He being once a Christ upon some earth created by His Father, the process having no beginning and no end. We as Gods children may receive a reward that will enable us to be, after proving our worth, to become like Christ after further schooling in the Spirit world.

Children are born that they might have joy and become Christ like. What is good for Christ is good for all of Gods children if proven worthy.

This is only a suggestion for you to ponder over in your mind
For a friend someone to love to care for to watch over

God's purposeWe are told that God is a God of love. He created us because he wanted us to experience existence, to know joy, mystery, and truth, and to honor Him by our lives. Whether we recognize him or not, God loves us, enough to sacrifice his own Son for us on the Cross, even though that love may be rejected by some.

And to glorify Him in everything we do. Basically, because he loves us.

Another PerspectiveIt appears that God was so bored that he created this world and its inhabitants for his personal entertainment and aggrandizement. He apparently had such a lonely existence that he desperately needed to have servile marionettes who would supplicate and honor him with blind faith and obedience.

Because God created us so that we could have an amazing relationship with Him, while animals just pretty much think of their next meal. And we were created in His image, and that means that we are more like God than any other creature on the planet. Hope this helps.

Humans evolved from earlier hominids to fill a niche in nature. Our ancestors began to ask the very same question. Wondering why we are here, they developed creation stories, such as we find in Genesis 1:1-2:4a and Genesis 2:4b-25.

Why do humans respond emotionally to beautiful sights? And why are painters, sculptors, or musicians motivated emotionally (even beyond monetary need) - to create works of beauty? We are created in the image of God (Genesis ch.5), and God himself is a master artist, who (we intuit) enjoys beauty and has made this beautiful world (see Genesis 1:31). The best human efforts to create beauty are a pale reflection of God's own designs. We respond to them because we are made in the Creator's image.
God made the Earth for people: "He did not create [the earth] simply for nothing," but "formed it to be inhabited" (Isaiah 45:18). He wanted them to exist in order to have someone to love. When the righteous use their free-will to obey God despite His being hidden, they have shown that they deserve His love. Their reward will never cease. But even the undeserving are given the kindness of life in this world, and the lifelong ability to repent.See also:

When the righteous use their free-will to obey God despite His being hidden, they have shown that they deserve His love. Their reward will never cease. The two most widely-known answers are the tradition of Creation, and the theory of the Big Bang followed by Evolution. According to the theory of the Big Bang followed by evolution, the Universe (and this Earth) resulted from random events stemming from natural laws, and life then developed by random processes, especially mutations.

The narrative of Divine Creation, which is contained in Genesis ch.1 and 2, states that God created the universe. This teaches us that God exists, that our lives and the world are not random, and that the created things may be assumed to contain vast wisdom in their beautiful and purposeful design. (In recent decades, this wisdom has indeed been partially revealed, through increasingly powerful microscopes.)Evolution through random mutations, on the other hand, may be understood as implying that life is an accident, that perceived beauty and wisdom are ultimately purposeless, and that our instinctive yearning for the Eternal is just an electrical impulse in our brain.
