It depends on the specific needs and circumstances of the school. While laptops can offer access to a wider range of resources and interactive learning experiences, textbooks still have advantages such as being easier on the eyes and not reliant on electricity. A balance between the two may be the most effective approach.
i think that laptops should be allowed in schools because it saves students a lot of time and energy.my self being a student find it very difficult without a laptop in school, the moment we get home we cant watch any t.v we cant do anything we want other than study the whole day which i personally think is very unfair as there should be another life than studying!!!!!!!!
As a teacher I think both are needed. A laptop is a tool and should be used as such. I often find students who are abusing using a laptop and are not doing what they are suppose to do when given the chance. Textbooks are still important because they center the student on particular data that is valid for that subject matter. As a teacher I use the textbook as a guide to get information across in different ways and with a computer you only use one learning mode, and some people need more.laptops are important for schoool because if children need to find info on something they do not have to use the teachers computer or wait until they get home they can do it right there.
laptops more useful than textbooks because laptops are able to contain textbooks and many other items such as,internet, writing apps (apple computers) their is nothing that the laptops really can't carry or hold
The answer to that is no!... So many kids today are becoming too dependant on their computer resources. So many of these kids are forgeting about their text books at school, because they think "well I can look it up on the internet".. but the question still remains that "is the internet a safe, and reliable resource"? The answer is no!. Kids seem to believe that the internet never tells a fib. But, their wrong. A lot of the information that the internet gives you are lies.. or things some one has made up, and it turns out to be an "F" on your science report and a very dissapointed teacher because you handed in false information from the internet you once were so reliable on. So, in conclusion, should books be replaced by technology?NO! they shouldnt.
i think it is depend on the interest. some people are only laptop user but some people are good reader and also laptop users.
laptops are a lot lighter then textbooks not as much pain to carry them around
Type your answer here...I think it should because it would be easier to reserach information instead of looking in a book and probaly not finding it
yes yes they should be
In my opinion, yes, they should.
yes they should
I'm not sure what grade you are in but some ideas would be: ~Should schools have uniforms ~should reality tv be banned ~should school continue using textbooks or use the latest gadgets instead of textbooks ~should the voting age be changed ~should the driving age be changed THERE MANY OTHERS OUT THERE!!! I had to do this for school too, most topics are ideas that are teacher gave us.
