Because the tv stations get paid money to put up advertisements. They then use this money to pay for the rights to use a new tv show episode on their channel. Without commercials, commercial tv is nothing.
Because most of the time if you watch an 1hour or 30 minute show the show itself is not 30 minutes or an hour and if it is a live show they need a break to get setup. The show also needs sponsers and they are usually buisnesses with their own commercials so to get sponsers with events that they have they show commercials in excange they get money and stuff. :) (i know long answer)
we need commercials because , if we lived in a world with no commercials (it would be awsome)we wouldn`t know were to find them , what new body products they invented or were to buy snuggies it would all just depend on us to find them , we would have to ask so many people to tell us were to find the stores they sell them at etc. ....... but , then again it would be a better opportunity to meet new friends and maybe even a new best friend. it would be cool not to have commercials but then it would also be good for our community but don`t forget no commercials more looking and finding
