Chickens are used to produce eggs and meat for humans to eat, and there tend to be a lot of humans to feed on this planet. Bald Eagles are wild animals, and humans have infiltrated their environment so much that it affects the number of birds there are around. Some folks see them as pests because they can catch and kill other birds (like chickens) and fish.

If you have a coop to house twelve chickens what do you do with extra chickens?

How many extra chickens??? Is your coop REALLY only for 12 chickens? Chickens don't mind close quarters for sleeping and coming in for food or water, but you need the outdoor run area to keep them happy too. The space for 12 chickens cannot be specifically defined, since they vary by size and disposition. If you have a few more, then make sire they have the outdoor run space if fenced. If you have a rooster, this changes the behavior of the chickens, too. If you think they are overcrowded, then you have two practical options - give them away / sell them to someone that wants chickens or, save yourself a trip to the store and have a fresh barbecue.

How many bald eagles are there?

The are not endangered anymore since 2007. Thankfully they are on the list under LC for Least Concern. according to our rescerch the world population of the Bald Eagle is 140,000The low point was 417 breeding pairs. It is now estimated there are over 10,000 mating pairs, with at least one mating pair in each State. The population of the Bald Eagle in the US has recovered to the point it is no longer listed as an endangered species -- it is still protected, however. The short answer is that no one knows for sure. Or can even give a good guesstimate. Many conservationists have tried to count "nesting pairs" but don't even bother counting juveniles or solo animals. Bald Eagles were taken off the Endangered and Threatened species list a few years ago, which means there are a lot of them just in the U.S. and Canada. The largest populations in North America are still found in Alaska and Canada, however.I think there are about more than 10000Between 150,000 to 200, 000.The Bald Eagle is not an endangered species. Thousands of individuals can be found in the wild.47.000bald eagles are endangered, so there can not be many more than 100047,000 are leftThere are enough bald eagles to have been removed from the IUCN list of endangered species.

When do bald eagles lay their eggs in the northeast?

Eagles lay their eggs when they are fully mature. For example, a bald eagle lays its eggs when its about 4-5 years. Steller's sea eagles also mature at around the same time, but wait to lay their eggs at the time when their feathers change color from brown to black, which takes another few years. However, if you're asking about the season in which eagles lay their eggs, it's usually spring, which differs in months in different places. For example, in North America, bald eagles lay their eggs at around May, the springtime in that place.

The bald eagle was first protected in the US and Canada in 1918 and in 1940, the US made it illegal to trap and kill bald eagles. In 1967, the bald eagle was first listed as an endangered species. A few years later, the use of the pesticide DDT was banned in the US. DDT had been one of the big killers of the Bald Eagle. With the banning of DDT, the species began to rebound.
