Often- they are powerful people who start to think that they can do whatever they like because of that power. That sort of thinking is "the road to evil".

∙ 10y agoAn evil villain isn't the worst - the worst type of villain is the type that has a reasonable and believable basis for their acts. This is the sympathetic villain who you can understand, which makes their actions worse than if they were just pure evil.
