I had this problem once for five days. I thought I was going to die. The doctor said I could have. I was a fool to wait five days. So go ASAP!

∙ 7y agoIt depends !... If you've not eaten anything for a long time (more than 24 hours) - your bowels will be empty, as there's nothing solid gone through the digestive system for it to expel. However - if you've been eating 'normally' - then you should move your bowels at least four times a day. I suggest you see a doctor !
