I'm not an MD but this is my best guess:

When water evaporates from your body, a lot of heat is taken away with that water. So that's why you feel so cold after a shower and explains why cold and sweaty are correlated.

Sweating is part of your excretory system; it is how your body rids it self of toxins. You sweat at least 1 liter though your feet on a daily. Thus even when your feet are cold, sometimes they will continue to sweat.

Wearing fibers that wick away moisture, and shoes with good airfow can help with the dampness. Most people wear socks made of cotton, while generally the most comfortable when dry, it tends to exasperate moisture problems, leading to sever problems with temperature regulation, hence the saying "cotton kills". Wool on the other hand does a much better job of wicking away moisture, but tends to be itchy and thus people avoid it unless planning a ski trip.

This is one possible side effect of having certain medical conditions, such as Diabetes. Also, some people who lead a sedentary lifestyle can have this as a result of not being physically active.

On the other hand, it may simply be normal for that particular person. If it is a new sensation that you have never had before, I would get a check up at your doctor.

You may have cold feet because of poor blood curculation in your feet you can always lose heat from your feet so make sure you wear socks/slippers even in bedActually you need more Vitamin K. The more Vitamin K you eat the warmer your feet will be.

My feet are always cold because I always sit on the computer for extended periods of time. I recommend not to sit on the computer for a long time because your veins really need some blood flow and your butt will start shrinking my feet are still bugging me and even if I put socks on they are freezing dad said that I keep crossing my legs while sitting on the computer and that hurts my veins. Now I don't sit for a long time and every hour of computer I have to run up and down the stairs ten times. I also can't cross my legs either. It helps my feet a whole lot but it still is sort of cold.

Body temperature depends on amount of blood supply. Those parts farthest away from the heart get relatively less blood and hence feel colder.

You should find some socks with a wicking capability to help your feet stay dry. During the winter, the temperatures fluctuate so your feet adjust to that.
