Why at 34 weeks pregnant am I brown spotting and having 5 minute contractions that I cannot feel?

I gave birth at 37 weeks after 51 days of contractions, of wich i only felt half
And they said that the body was probably just tired from all that had been going on.
You are having a baby and that costs a lot of energy from your body
