Cancer is a terrible disease that takes too much from too many. it is not a questin of what he did to get it. No one deserves to get this awful disease and your 'buddy' definitely did not deserve it.

An unhealthy diet, smoking, lack of exercise, a family history of this disease and poor stress management have been known to cause cancer.
Depending on the type and severity of the disease, there are different reasons on what could have caused it.
