yes
because it is a heterogeneous mixture.
because it is a mixture, they have not chemically bonded. put it into a centrifuge. If it was a compound you would not be able to separate it so easily.

Chemical changes are permanent and cannot be reversed, like burning a piece of paper. It completely changes the make-up of the object. A physical change is not permanet and can be reversed, like cutting up a piece of paper. You can put the pieces back together and it is still paper.
Mixtures can be separated because they were never chemically combined. The molecules were never bonded which makes it easier to go backwards a separate them.
It depends on their state of matter and physical process is easier to carryout than chemical process in most cases
chemical changes change the basic chemical makeup of something, while a physical change only changes an item's appearance
It’s not a mixture
A mixture is a combination of two or more subtances.Subtances in a mixture can be separated. This means that they are chemically combined.I would prefer physical change cause mixtures are made by physically combining two or more subtances. The solids, liquids,or gases in a mixture are not chemically combined. They can be easily seperated.
It is possible to filter mud out of water.
To separate the properties of a solution you have to heat it up to distill the liquid, leaving behind the other substance. However , to separate a mixture you have to use a sieve or filtration paper or other physical methods.
A mixture cannot be separated with chemical change because a mixture is two or more substances which will retain their physical properties when combined. Mixtures are separated by physical means like filters, sifting, chromatography, centrifuge, electrophoresis and magnetic attraction depending on what the mixture is composed of.
you can use a heater and don't use my answer because it is absolutly wrong (says elizabeth pham)

Their physical properties
The physical properties of substances can be used a a technique! :)
They have different molecular weights and chemical/physical properties.
The physical properties of the things in the mixture. It could be that one part of the mixture is soluble, the other part insoluble - both physical properties. It could be that you use the boiling point of 2 liquids to separate them - physical properties. You could use a magnet if one part is magnetic and the other isn't - physical properties. And so on. But you are relying on physical properties rather than chemical properties.

The separation is possible because components of a mixture have different physical properties.
The method of evaporation to separate substances in a mixture is purely physical because no chemical reaction occurs.
You depend on the physical state of the constituents to separate a mixture
when you separate a substance from a mixture, it's a physical change... Technically, you can get it back in the mixture.
