Why did 1998 civic power door locks stop working by remote and door switch when fuses under hood and below steering wheel are fine?

Did you remove the stock radio to install an aftermarket radio by chance? If so then this is why your keyless entry stopped working because the keyless entry is hooked up to the stock radio. I had to buy a special adapter harness and throw the stock radio in the back of the dash somewhere in order to have a new radio and my doors to unlock and lock. I know it sounds stupid but there is no other way the guys at Circuit City said. Hope this helps.
