∙ 13y agoHitler himself did not shave any heads, but the SS troops (respectively the SS doctors) in the concentration camps and death camps did that for two reasons: on one hand there was a high grade of vermin infestation in the camps (bugs, rats, ...) so they tried to minimize the risk of even more vermin, but on the other hand, they used the hair of the victims to make mantles and lining from it (after the death of the victim they also broke out gold teeth).
