Jackie Paige won't be waking up at 2:30 a.m. anymore to help you avoid traffic jams.
The repeat-winner of Hour Detroit's best traffic reporter honors, Paige will hang up her traffic clicker and take on a reduced role at Fox 2.
"I will be staying on to do some other stuff -- feature reporting, filling in on the anchor desk, weather, the 'Made in Michigan' segments -- and you'll probably see me on the morning show, but not on a regular basis," Paige told the Detroit Free Press on Thursday.
Chopper pilot Bill Szumanski will take on a larger role until producers find a new traffic report.
Paige, meanwhile, is excited to spend more time with her husband and two sons.
