Sabah or North Borneo is owned by the Sultanate of Sulu. Sabah was rented by BNBC in 1878 from the Sultan of Sulu and later turned to British Government for administration. wh…en the company ceased to exist, respectively the political power of the Sultanate of Sulu was diminished by U. S government when they sponsored an independence on part of the Sulu archipelago islands bought from the Spanish in 1898. This create a misunderstanding when Manuel Quezon declared not to recognized the political power of the Sultanate of Sulu and it''s heirs for the fear that a similar case will be filed against other part of Sulu archipelago which also own by the Sultanate of Sulu in the Philippines. The case filed by the heirs against Malaysia won on 1939 in the High Court of North Borneo under Mckaskie judgment declaring the ownership of Sabah by the Sultanate of Sulu heirs and the continuance of rental. Malaysia continue the administration of Sabah upon their independence in 1963 to this day as per legal and historical facts serving as evidence. Malaysia is continually trying to deviate that political control and ownership of the land is the same. political sovereignty and proprietary sovereignty is being mix up until today , no clear indication that this issue will be settled between Malaysia and the leadership of the Sultanbate of Sulu standing now as ecclesiastical government.
The existence of the Iranun in Sabah, Malaysia is one of the untold episode or history of the Iranun as Nation of the world, way back from the Uranen Kingdom of the prehistory… period. Iranun tarsila narrates that the original inhabitants of the Island was Iranun. During the prehistory period of the Iranun, immigration was already observed. The Iranun was used to sail and navigate going west and southwest direction for socio-economic-political objective. They reached Java, Sumatra, Makassar, Johore, Borneo (Brunie) and other places/nations. Iranun tarsila narrates that the mother of Princess Pagunguwan (daughter of Rajah Urangguwan) was the daughter of the last Emperor of the Sri Vishaya Empire. It happened that Borneo was then one of the naval bases and tributary to the Sri Vishaya Empire. Therefore, there was a social relationships established between the two sovereigns through marraige. From then the two sovereign nations interacts in all aspects of statehood or nationhood. Until finally history period came. The whitemen (Spaniards) arrived in the shores of the Island in 1521.. During the height of the realm of Sultan Kudarat at Ramitan, the first seat of Sultanate; his neighbor Sultan, the Sultan of Brunie faced a heavy problem in his realm. There was an uprising organized by some group of people who can not accept the sovereignty of the Sultan. Thus there was rebellion in his Sultanate. The Sultan of Brunie requested a reinforcement from Sultan Kudarat to augment his royal army to protect and defend his sovereign nation from the rebellion. Sultan Kudarat answered the request in favor of his neighbor sultan of Brunie. Sultan Kudarat sent a big military expedition to Brunie. According to the Iranun tarsila, the military expedition was composed of twelve (12) vessels. Each vessel was composed of forty (40) army (warrior). Therefore, there were four hundred eighty (480) armies (warriors) who were sent to Brunie to help the Sultan of Brunie. To compensate the assistance extended to him by the Iranun armies (warriors) of Sultan Kudarat, and for owing his gratitude, the Sultan of Brunie offered them some portion of his sovereign state to the Iranun armies. Majority of the Iranun armies accepted the offer with the consent of Sultan Kudarat. They lived there with their families with harmony and prosperity. They are the descendants of the Iranuns in Sabah, Malaysia.. The present situation wherein many of the people from different nations migrate to other nation for the reason of green pasture is common to nations which are economically unstable. In the case of the people of Mindanao, especially Iranuns migrated to Sabah because they are seeking greener pasture for them to sustain the basic nessessity of their families. They are adventuring to Sabah with a hope that they can be able to strengthen their economic capability.. Therefore, the presence of the Iranuns in Sabah, Malaysia can be described into two plausible reasons. The first reason is historical. The first wave of migration of the Iranuns in Sabah, Malaysia was attributed to the socio-political relationships of the the two nations: Iranun and Malaysia during the 16th century. Second reason is economy. At present time many people in the Philippines not only Iranuns but other tribes migrate to Sabah, Malaysia for economic reason. Many Iranuns at present time seek greener pasture to Sabah, Malaysia. Malampayan, Likas, Lahd Datu, and Tbok are identified Iranun communities in Sabah, Malaysia.
Malaysia did not have interest in the spratlys, But when thephilippines started exploring the island and found gas and oilresserve malaysian goverment suddenly had interest is… spratlys. If your going to ask me How did the Philippines claim Spratly andSabah Islands? Answer: I think the 90% Christian majority of the Philippines understandand share the feelings of the Sabahans. Middle age Filipinos hadthe felling of connectivity towards the Sabahans for the Philippinehistory dictates the historical connection and experiences. If Sabah chose to be part of the Philippines, then their interestwill be well protected and respected. The Philippine government isthe bastion of democracy in Asia and the Filipinos knows it byheart. It is said the majority of the Christian Sabahans are fearful ofthe mass immigration if Sabah would be integrated to thePhilippines, will that fear is unfounded, the Philippine governmentrespect diversity and would surely protect the interest and rightof its citizens. Like the Christian Filipino, Christian Sabahans will also enjoy thesame, and be protected to the fullest extent of the law. ChristianSabahans should not be fearful to their brother Filipinos; they arethe same and have shared the same in time and space. Let lost that fear, look forward for the brighter future! Spartly Island is not completely owned by Philippines thePhilippines is only protecting the 9 islands against invaders andone of those island contains oil and gas and the china think it isunfair so they are trying to claim it note: as you can see all Islamic country has a oil (middle east)Philippines is a Islamic country before but it became christianwhen the Spaniards came and also there are oil and gas in mindanaoPhilippines that Islam people are protecting it but the governmentdoesnt know this yet. Malaysia is currently profiting out of sabah which is part of thephilippines if I were the sabahan I would have joined thephilippines instead, but I dont blame them they were tricked intovoting against the Philippines. local Sabahan's illiteracy whereexploited into voting against the Philippines. And if your going to ask me if Why Malaysia keeps holding Sabah ifnot belong to them? Answer: Malaysia has seen what the British has done and so they imitate tograb the opportunity when they got their independence from theBritish empire in 1963. Peninsular government of Malaysia slowlyedge to make it appear Sabah is part of Malaysia by appointinginterim administration and change the name from North Borneo toSabah in a blink of an eye. It was also clear to the MalaysianConstitution that Sabah is a partner rather than a member state ofMalaysia. It was also clear that Sabah is only interim memberstate. Sabah is now currently contributing 30% to the whole economy ofMalaysia. From this standpoint, simple calculations will give us atleast US$12 billion dollars generated income annually. Malaysia hasall the reason to hold Sabah ,a merely US$1,500 dollars rental toSabah since 1963 is being paid by Malaysia. In short, the onlycapitalization involved is the rental versus billion dollar earningevery year, Is that not enough reason to hold Sabah? It was said that Malaysia is continually muddling the traditionalleadership of the Royal Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo bypaying fake sultans among the relatives to the throne, to make itappear that squabble is there to reason out that they do not knowwho is the genuine sultan of whom Sabah will return. There is also rumors that even the past and present administrationsof the the Philippine government is continually secretly receivingdole out money from Malaysia in condition not to interfere or helpthe now traditional governance of the Royal Sultanate of Sulu andNorth Borneo. And also if your going to ask me Why Malaysia says they own Sabah? Answer: The basis of Malaysia in owning Sabah is based on LandgrabbingPrinciple employed by the British government. The original lesseeis a private british company, British North Borneo Company. TheBritish government has signed a 'Friendship Treaty ' to theSultanate kingdom .The British government broke the Treaty ofFriendship when they absorbed the lease of which they are not anentity to the 'Lease Contract of 1878" and clearly stipulates thenon transferrability. Malaysia followed this suit by absorbing thesame when they got their independence in 1963 - If the modern worldcannot understand this then let us live like a hypocrites andforget the Omnipotent creator that we all believe., whether Allah,God or Yahweh. The Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo now ispolitically diminished but not culturally and traditionally. thehistory never lie only the Spanish and American people who wrotethe historical hoax of the Sultanate of Sulu and North BorneoKingdom to achieve their colonizations. And also if your going to ask me if Is Sabah part of Malaysia? Answer: Sabah and Sarawak is legally not a part of Federal Malaysia basedon conditional partnership they agreed when Peninsular Malaysiabecome Federated in 1963. The 3 major reason for Sabah and Sarawakto join in partner with Federal is Military , Monetary andTaxation. Sabah and Sarawak has partnered with Federal Malaysiabased on 20 point agreement, their own State Constitution separatefrom Federal Constitution. The 20 point agreement has been forgedprior to Sabah and Sarawak association to Federal Malaysia . Beinga partner to the Federation does not mean to become a state ofMalaysia. This is very clear that separate State of Sabah andSarawak Constitution is in place. unlike the Peninsular Malaysiathat all covers by Federal Constitution. The conditionalpartnership of Sabah and Sarawak cannot be contituted as fullmember of the Peninsular Federation of Malaysia. Sabah and Sarawak can at anytime decide if they still want to be apart of the Federal Malaysia through partnership by simply passinga law by the State Government annulling the partnership. This isthe point of view by State MP's to segregate because the federal isabusive of the Financial allocation exercise over the two State.Sabah and sarawak combined contribute 60% of Malaysian economy andyet they only receive 5% of the total economic contributions tothose two state. Sabah and Sarawak has their own rights, religionsand land laws , they pay in return a tribute to Federal Malaysia inreturn of providing the Military and Monetary by paying excessiveTaxation.. The philippines can sustain sabah militarily and financialy

This is the logical proof that Sabah does not belong to Malaysia - Malaysia has manufacture the Cobbold Commission saying that the people of Sabah has wanted to be under them.… The fact that the Federal Constitution of Malaysia does not say Sabah is part of Malaysia but under the administrative partnership in governance. All Malaysian Federation has a Sultan but Sabah has none because the Sultan Of Sabah and Sulu are one. If Sabah is part of Malaysia why different system is use not the approved Federal law of Malaysia. It is not clear until today the status of Sabah because Sabah did not join Malaysia ,it was included as a partner to Malaysia as Yong Teck Lee , president of SAPP always point out. The historical Proof that Sabah does not own by Malaysia - way back 1878 Sabah was Leased by a Private British Company ,the lease was transferred to the British Government without the consent of the owner ,The Sultanate of Sulu . In 1963 , the British transferred Sabah to Malaysia again without the consent of the owner. Never you can see in the original "Lease Contract of 1878" that the lease is transferrable nor British Government or Malaysia is mentioned as party or entity to the contract. Malaysia cannot just walk into the contract which was contracted even before they got their independence in 1963 The Legal Proof that Sabah does not belong to Malaysia -- in 1939 ,the high Court of North Borneo has come out with the Ruling that Sabah belongs to the Sultanate of Sulu . The letter of Administration was given authorizing the audit and inventory of the property to Datu Punjungan Kiram ,son of Sultan MawalilWasit, this Letter of Administration is signed by Judge McKaskie of the High Court of North Borneo. The High Court of NorthBorneo also identified the nine principal heis entitled to received the monetary rental. The Letter of Administration has never been implement ted to this day due to World war II and after the turmoils to the hierarchy to the throne but the monetary rental was served .

Malaysia is boasting that Sabah is part of Malaysian Federal Government, which is partly true. This conception is the standpoint of Kuala Lumpur based on the Federal constituti…on . The Parliament of Federal Malaysia is holding fast on this conjecture due to the inherent participation of Sabah to the Federal Malaysia. Former Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Yong Teck Lee has blown the secret of Sabah's association to Malaysia in saying - SABAH DID NOT JOIN MALAYSIA BUT SABAH IS IN PARTNER TO MALAYSIA .This revelation is the most expounding issue and the only way to find out if Yong Teck Lee is telling the truth is to review the Malaysian Constitution in conjunction with Sabah State Constitution. This two constitution, one Federal in nature and the other one state in nature will give light to the confession of Yong Teck Lee. It was true that Sabah is under the Federal Malaysian Constitution in Pro -Tempore meaning temporary or interim because Sabah State Constitution clearly define that the - STATE OF SABAH CAN INDEPENDENTLY MAKE IT'S OWN LAW as defined under the 20 point agreement. The provision of special applications to Sabah and Sarawak to be exempted from the National Land law of Federal Malaysia seems accurate as per Yong Teck Lee admits that - WE MADE THE FEDERAL MALAYSIA, SABAH IS IN PARTNER TO IT this is a statement of the original people that framed the Federal Malaysian constitution as we see today. The provision of special applications to Sabah and Sarawak is very interesting. If Sabah has freedom over the state land to decide independently, therefore the sovereignty to decide over Sabah belongs to the state. This tell us that there is actually separation of power of two constitutions. State Parliament can make a law to separate and apply the provision of 20 point policy , Sabah can be independent anytime the State Parliament wishes to do so. This could be the reason of edging out the opposition because once the opposition win the majority in the State Parliament, it is likely that a law will be passed to remove the Federal control over Sabah. T he Malaysian Constitution is very clear to the provision regarding Sabah and Sarawak, only the Federal function of Taxation , Military and Monetary is the only power that was vested in Federal Malaysia to implement in Sabah. This could be the essence of partnership because Sabah has it's own State Parliament that can act and make laws independent from Federal Laws except that they will be under the Federal laws on Tax,Military and Monetary. The grudge of Sabah State Parliament is the unfair sharing between the State and the Federal, because Sabah is only getting a mere 5% of the revenues that the Federal Government of Malaysia is making out of Sabah. The development and social services is not being address comparing to Peninsular Malaysia. As Datuk Yong Teck Lee admits - WE ARE PAYING A HIGH PRICE BEING A PARTNER TO FEDERAL MALAYSIA which seemingly accurate. The rest of the oppositions is now hell bent in planning to seggregate Sabah from the Federal control if the situation cannot be abated.According to Yong , it is very hard to run the State for a very small portion of revenue while Peninsular Malaysia enjoy the resources they got from Sabah.
Despite the validity of the case and the piles of documents that prooves the ownership of Sabah ,the proprietary ownership of the Sultanate of sulu and North Borneo, Malaysia …is continually defying the Legality of the ownership of Sabah, because they knew that the political power of the Kingdom has been diminished. This gave an impromptu to Malaysia to seconded what the Philippine government has done to the once powerful Kingdom of Sulu and North Borneo to reduce into an ecclessiastical level. The leadership of the kingdom was practically diminished with the help of America, when the Philippine Republic was established. Importantly, the generated income that Sabah is contributing to Malaysian economy is approximately one third of their per capita income. This economic glory that Malaysia enjoy to the rented land of BNBCC in 1878 could be the best business investment that can be envied by all the countries of the world. Malaysia is merely paying USD$1,500.oo dollars per year and making almost USD$ 12 billion dollars per year. Malaysia being not a party to the Land Lease of 1878 nor British government is raking a cool 12 billion dollars per year with only a based capital equivalent to a price of a lap top computer. This is the prime reason of the hold to return Sabah, no sane country will probably return the duck that lay a golden eggs fo them but a near to acceptable level must be exercise. This extreme greed poised by Malaysia can be considered the "Mother of all Greed " country in the world or so to say in Guiness Book of world Record - The Greediest Country in the world is Malaysia ".

Returning Sabah may not be the issue for Malaysia, but the interest of Malaysia to Profit out of Sabah. It was said that the net profit of Malaysia to Sabah and Sarawak combin…ed could be 40 to 50 % of their GNP . Looking closely , Malaysia will not let Sabah and Sarawak go off their hand without provocation of a probable war. However, the advent of modern advocacy under UN charters may put end to this long and standing problem of Sabah like Hongkong that was returned to China lately, Forfeiting the real owner of their rights as the legitimate and sovereign owner of the land, the Sultanate of Sulu is now at the mercy of the UN or any country that will sponsor the case against Malaysia. Many countries of the world now has managed to get away from their captors through the intervention of UN. The problem today of finding a sponsor country for the Sultanate remains unclear, since the Sultanate of Sulu has been stripped out of her Political power to become a member nation of UN.The only probable solution is to privately lodge a case to ICJ if will be permitted. To return Sabah to the Sultanate of Sulu is almost as impossible task but hope is still and miracle could happen only as an alternative.
No. It is not reasonable. Sabah is part of the Philippines according to the Law. Malaysia just got a hold to Sabah temporarily as they are closed to British who been leased… by a Sultan of Sulu for Sabah. The Malaysian Government resistance of returning Sabah Back to the Philippines is yet unlawful and this could make this a big shame to the Malaysian Government practicing wrong practices of Law. On September 12, 1962, during President Diosdado Macapagal's administration, the territory of North Borneo, and the full sovereignty, title and dominion over the territory were ceded by the then reigning Sultan of Sulu, HM Sultan Muhammad Esmail E. Kiram I, to the Republic of the Philippines. The cession effectively gave the Philippine government the full authority to pursue their claim in international courts. The Philippine take over to Sabah is not needed because Sabah is Already part of the Philippines from the Start. And the Philippine Government must have to show up and exercise its governance to the State of Sabah as it is really needed.
All legal and historical facts and evidence is clear regarding the ownership of Sabah . Although the political government of Sabah is under the Federal government of Malaysia …, proprietary ownership is undeniable that belongs to the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo. It was said that 30% to 40% of Malaysia's GNP is coming from Sabah and therefore could be the main reason of Malaysia's hard headed stance to have it returned from the rightfill owner. Malaysia is said to be trying to politically cover up the Sabah issue by conveying all other means of political maneuver to divert the attention of the world into political issue. The war in Mindanao ,specially in Sulu islands is a known facts that is being financed by Malaysia for the last 20 years under the disguise of MNLF , MILF , Abu Sayyaf and other groups as diversionary tactic.
The current situation in Sabah is terrible. they are struggling andneed help with their resources. Who knows what could happen to themwith all of the intruders and internal di…strust.
The Size of the Malaysian state of Sabah is 73,631 km² or 28,429 sq miles
