Stalin had little to do with America and Americans (at least that is recorded) until the Second World War. During WW2, Stalin became an ally of the Americans and therefore did NOT hate them at the time. They did have issues, specifically over comments made by the American President, Roosevelt.

After World War 2, they had issues with the beginning of the Cold War. But it was competitive, Stalin wanted to have better weapons. So if you would like to call that "hating" Americans, it was simply due to the fact that they wanted to be superior to America.

But America wanted the same on that note.

There is no evidence to suggest that Hitler hated Americans. In fact, if you read Hitler's last will, he specifically asks history to show he never intended to go to war with America or England because he already knew that America and England will loss the te war with people dying on the streets.

The majority of the people in the U.S., did not like Adolf Hitler nor His Third Reich. President Franklin Roosevelt called for hostile policies toward Germany. The President was extremely well-informed about Hitler, His regime, & it's anti-Jewish policies. Early on, He perceived Nazi Germany as a threat to vital U.S. interests. The U.S. started to get over-whelmed with Jewish refugees, fleeing Europe. Fearing that they would be found out, & executed. Due to the Depression, it was hard enough for most Americans to find some sort of work. However, with the continuous intake of so many Jewish refugees, a lot of Americans started getting hostile & violent towards them. Mainly out of fear for there being even less work available than there was, already.

Establishing a haven in the United States for Jewish refugees was extremely difficult, in it's self. The new quota system of the 1924 U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) imposed, severe restrictions on immigration based on nationality. Moreover, in 1930, Roosevelt's predecessor, President Herbert Hoover, announced that, given acute unemployment during the Depression, U.S. immigration authorities would henceforth interpret a 1917 ban on immigration of persons "likely to become a public charge" to include persons who were otherwise able to work, but in the conditions of the Depression, were unlikely to find a job. Given continued economic hardship in the U.S. during the 1930s, the Roosevelt administration upheld this highly restrictive Hoover interpretation, effectively excluding Jewish refugees who were trained in different professions. Anyone who did not have a guaranteed job upon arrival in the United States.

Roosevelt, like many government officials and ordinary Americans, suspected that refugees from German-controlled Europe were potential Axis spies, who would provide intelligence to the enemy and who, if permitted to settle freely in the United States, would serve as a "fifth column" in the event of a German or Japanese invasion. Jewish refugees were particularly vulnerable to this perception because they were presumed to (and often did) have relatives under German control whose lives could be used as incentive for them to spy.

In addition to this, American ships were being attacked, seized, & raided by Nazis ships & U-boats. In order to collect, & stop resources from reaching Allie Countries & Troops (Great Britain, & France). In October of 1939, a Germany pocket battleship Deutschland, seized a US freighter SS City of Flint, as it had 4000 tons of oil for Britain on board. This attack on a U.S. Ship, also help provoked much anti-German sentiment in the US.

Hitler had feared the U.S. getting involved in the WAR, before He had planned. Allegedly, He had wanted to wait until the conflict in Europe was completed, or was close in hand. Before engaged the U.S. into the WAR. Hitler felt, that the U.S. was to powerful to take on before then. The Japanese were informed of Hitlers plans, & warned not to attack the United States before then.

Despite this though, they went ahead anyway & on December 7, 1941 (Almost two and a half years, after the war in Europe had started). The Japanese declared war on the U.S. attacking Pearl Harbor.

Isoroku Yamamoto (A Japanese Naval Marshal General and the commander-in-chief of the Combined Fleet during World War II, a graduate of the Imperial Japanese Naval Academy and a student of Harvard University) was supposedly quoted as saying "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." However, no actual proof has been found verifying Yamamoto had actually made, or wrote such a statement.

By doing so, they had made the very catalyst that sent the President (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) & Congress to declare WAR on Germany & The Japanese. This in effect, cause Hitler to bump up his plans. So Hitler officially Declared WAR with the U.S., during his Reichstag Speech on December 11, 1941, (4 days later after President Roosevelt had).
