Why do all countries have a different language?
We speak Dutch because that's how it developed thousands through hundreds of years ago. And because we learned it from our parents. Just like you.
As of 2011, Dutch is a first language for about 23 million people. Another 5 million Speak Dutch as a second language.

They learn it at school, they also watch English tv and movies. Most of the Dutch people can speak it very well and they learn it because nobody else speaks Dutch in the world.
