Palm Sunday is the start of Holy Week, where Jesus taught in Jerusalem before He was betrayed, crucified and rose again the following Sunday. As this is probably the most important time for Christians, we remember His triumphal entry into the city.

They celebrate it to honor and worship God and to show their humility. On the first Palm Sunday, the followers of Christ fanned Jesus with palms as he rode into Jerusalem to show their humility and show their love. That is why we celebrate Palm Sunday, to worship God.
