That's a tough one that you really should discuss with your doctor.
People can develop Allergies at any time, so it could be an allergy. But cooked egg whites can be a bit tough to digest, so there may be a possibility that your digestive enzymes are not up to par.
I had a problem with cheese - ate dairy products all my life. Then I noticed severe cramping after eating cheese. I used digestive enzymes that contained lactase, which took care of the immediate problem. Then I started supplementing my diet with probiotics. I no longer take the lactase and have had no problems for quite a while.
OR try eating free range organic eggs..I noticed that I used to get stomach aches from eggs, then switched to free range organic. Now I love them...and they love me..no more problems. I think the mass production of eggs these days, as well as caged stressed chickens, hormones, antibiotics, etc....is causing the eggs to digest poorly and disagree with our systems. You'll pay more for the organic free range eggs but it's worth it and they taste great!
