The reason that geese walk and swim in a single file is to reduce the wind resistance. Flying, walking, and swimming in a straight line is easier on the geese than not doing it in a straight line.

Doubt that the reasoning presented is logical. Wind resistance while walking or swimming is close to zero.

They walk in a line because so they dont loose track of there mom well,thats what i believe.write me back.

A ducks natural habitat is a pond so they adapt to their surroundings and therefore are able to swim.
