  • It's a fact. Most men will sweat more than women will when exercising at the same intensity. Women are generally less prolific sweaters than men are because a woman's cooling system probably relies more on blood circulation to transfer heat through the skin. Then, as skin and core temperatures rise, sweating kicks in. Men make greater use of evaporative cooling. While men and women handle excess heat differently, their heat tolerance is about the same. It is obvious that quantity of sweat and onset of sweating fail to be a good measure for rating effectiveness of exercise.

Boys tend to sweat more when growing up because their glands are growing and also because there creating hormones giving you more energy making you more active.
