Many Christians believe the Holy Spirit is a form of God based on their interpretation of biblical teachings. While it is true that neither God nor Jesus directly said that the Holy Spirit is a form of God, there are passages in The Bible that describe the Holy Spirit as having divine attributes and authority. Christians see these passages as evidence for the Holy Spirit's divine nature.

You're right in saying 'many' Christians, as many don't believe this is the fact. Though for those that do, Jesus says to his disciples 'Baptize in My name', 'The father son and holy spirit.' Along side this, in the first three versus of Genesis, it says 'In the beginning there was god', implying only God. Then from there it says the spirit hovered over the void (the holy spirit), and the Word (Jesus). It is quite an abstract thing and quite difficult to deal with, and while no-one can be 100% sure that there answer is right, many people have grappled with this question over the years, and come up with an answer that we're happy to agree with. The early Christians were Jewish (Jesus was Jewish) and Monotheistic and the concept of Trinity was not taught.

Isaiah 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Pfft, that scripture means that no gods are formed, but we say Jesus and the Holy Spirit were not formed! The trinity was taught actually, how would you know that? Paul believed it and preached it, man dunno how you Jehovah's witnesses can have such bad theology, seems like those who don't believe in God could do better!

Haha. Brilliant. Thanks. Have you even read the whole New Testament? Someone else answer please. (Dear fellow answerer, for your own enlightenment, you ignored the question, i.e. the statement that destroys your entire point. We know PAUL taught it. God and Jesus, the only ones that can decide this, did not. In fact, they very much precluded the idea by what they said. If you believe in the Trinity just because enlightened ol' Paul said it, then that's a more extensive problem than I have the time dead with in explaining that much basic logic, philosophy, and religion. )
