Because they have never been withdrawn by the Holy Spirit; Christians may have chosen to use them less or more at various times in Church history, but they did not cease, and continue to this day. They remain available to all with faith in Christ who are filled with the Spirit of God.

Are Pentecostals losing what it means to be Pentecostal?

I don't think so. To be Pentecostal means to believe in the Holy Spirit allowing people to speak in other tongues, and Pentecostals still believe that.

Does America still Believe in witchcraft?

The United States Armed Forces and the Prison Systems recognise Wicca, Paganism and Shamanism as formal religions. As to the question of Witchcraft, which is part but not all, of some but not all, of these spiritual paths, it is hard to say... Most people outside of a specific spiritual path do not understand or believe in practices of other spiritual paths.

How is a Pentecostal church different from Mormons?

There are several different types of Pentecostal Churches, but all have some basic differences from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church). Outwardly, their worship services are very different. A Pentecostal service is very lively, with a charismatic preacher, standing congregations, rousing music, and sometimes shows of miracles such as healings, speaking in tongues, or handling of serpents. A Mormon worship service is reverent, quiet, and contemplative. Congregation members are invited to give sermons or bear testimony. Music is traditional prayerful hymns played by piano or organ. Healings are not done as part of the service, but congregation members and visitors can requst healing blessings privately. Their doctrines and beliefs have some similarities and differences as well. For example, Pentecostals believe that the Bible is the only book of scripture and that it is infallible, and that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are one being - the Trinity. Most Pentecostals do not believe that a physical baptism in water is essential. There are many different kinds of Pentecostal churches and they have a very loose heirachy. Mormons believe that the Bible is scripture but also use the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price. They believe that God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit are three separate beings that work together as one. They believe that a physical baptism in water is essential for salvation. The Church has a very organized heirarchy and each congregation is linked as part of one worldwide church - each Mormon congregation has the same lesson on any given Sunday, and each local leader and local meetinghouse is provided by church headquarters. Similarities between Mormons and Pentecostals exist too, especially Oneness Pentecostals. Both believe in and emphasize having a personal relationship with God. Both believe that revelation, prophesy, healing, and other spiritual gifts still exist today. Both worship Jesus Christ and believe that He is the source of salvation. While both believe in the gift of speaking with tongues, Pentecostals believe that people speak in tongues that are not understandable by men. Mormons believe that speaking in tongues is a gift which allows them to speak in the language understood by the people they are preaching too. (For example, many Mormon missionaries are able to teach people in a foreign language that they know little of). Mormons also have additional beliefs that are not found in Pentecostalism, such as Temple worship, salvation for the dead, and eternal families. Is it possible for me to be immortal?

There are many people in the world who believe that we humans are actually spiritual beings who are currently having a physical experience. Some of those people further believe that only God can kill a spirit. The jury is still out.

What does a pentecostal believe?

Firstly, Pentecostals are not a separate religion. Pentecostalism is a form of Christianity. Therefore, Pentecostals are identified firstly Christians, not as Pentecostals. The term "Pentecostal" comes from the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2 when the promised Holy Spirit was poured out on the original disciples. The two things that distinguish Pentecostals from other Christians are generally- * The belief that the activity of the Holy Spirit in the believer begins with salvation (the "infilling with the Holy Spirit") but may continue with an experience of empowering ("the baptism in the Spirit") which is evident by a God-given phenomena known as "tongues" ("glossalalia"). * The belief that the Holy Spirit can still administer the spiritual gifts of 1Corinthians 12 today through His people (tongues, interpretation, prophecy, healing, word of wisdom, word of knowledge, discerning of spirits, faith, and miracles). Pentecostals are distinguished from Charismatics over the first of these two points. Charismatics accept the second point but not the first point. Therefore, while there are entire denominations which are identified as "Pentecostal", the largest of these is the Assemblies of God, there are some denominations that have within them congregations which embrace the second point of Pentecostalism are usually identified as being "Charismatic". Pentecostals are generally characterised by vibrant faith, aggressive evangelism, bright worship services, prayer for the sick, the laying on of hands to impart spiritual blessing, the acknowledgement of demonic activity and the occasional need for unbelievers to be "delivered" from demons. Can you make love in the spiritual realm?

Depends on what you believe. If you believe that you can have out-of-body experiences then the chances are that yes you can. But then it depends on how far you are able to separate soul and body. If you are still attached to the body then I would think not, but if you are completely separate then what is holding you back?
