Why do young people die?

Young people die for some of the same reasons that older, or middle-aged people die. Phenomena which commonly bring about death include predation, malnutrition, accidents resulting in terminal injury, and disease. Human beings of all ages are susceptible to all of these, thus young people are certainly able to die.

It is an inescapable fact that every living thing dies eventually. We seldom even have control over when and how we die. Accidents, disease, and war are largely beyond the ability of the individual to control. Unfortunately, this means that some portion of people end up dying at a young age.

Some religions believe that the amount of time that people have to live is preordained, and therefore it is important to be ready to "meet your maker" at any given time.

A:Being good and kind, or evil and mean do not affect a person's resistance to disease. Some good people die young, some bad people die young.

You may be asking why God does not choose to reward good people with long lives. Either God has other plans, or there is no God. As you grow older, you will make this choice.

It may seem like the 'good die young', because their loss is so devastating, but as mentioned, all kinds of people die young. According to The Bible, the fact remains that no matter how nice people are, they are still imperfect. We all 'sin'.

Romans 5:12 (ESV) explains: "...just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all me because all sinned..."

Adam's disobedience to God's command back in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:17/Genesis 3:1-19) brought sin and death to the human family genetically(Genesis 3:20) since 'ALL have sinned..."(Romans 3:23/Job 34:15/ Ecclesiastes 3:20). Not that all are 'evil', but NO ONE is perfect, and ALL, through no fault of their own, SIN(or 'fall short' of perfection). James 1:14+15(NIV) points this out again when it says:"... SIN...gives birth to death." Because of this, many feel that SIN is the reason ANY of us get sick and die, since we are all descendants of Adam and have now inherited that imperfection. We can see the connection between sin and illness at Matthew 9:1-7. Jesus was sent to humankind to provide a 'ransom'(Matthew 20:28) that would one day END sin, and so, death(John 1:29/1John 2:2/Colossians 1:14/1 Peter 2:24)for ALL obedient mankind(1 Timothy 2:6/Titus 2:14/Luke 5:32/1 Timothy 1:15)(Matthew 5:5/Psalm 37:11/Revelation 21:3+4) and then 'death will be no more'.

There is no reason.This called chance or probability. Insurance tables and generals calculate how many of any group (based on age, ethnicity, nationality, etc) will die doing any activity. They do not know however which individual people will be in either group.Actually all people die eventually - some just do it earlier or messier.

Young isn't too well defined - it is just someone not as old as you.
