Girls can be over obsessed in popularity and want guys to like them or even other girls to like them and be accepted so they will do anything to fit in. It is basicly what teachers tell you. Listen to them they were teenagers once to. They know a lot.
we give into pressure because we don't want to be mad fun of or be rejects. even though most teenagers know right from wrong they give into the pressure.

People naturally want others to be like them. It makes them more comfortable. Peer pressure is a way to get people to conform to the group. Sometimes it is good, sometimes not, depending on the kind of pressure and the group. Generally it could be considered negative, as it discourages people from being themselves. Nonetheless, it has been a part of human nature since the beginning, and is unlikely to change.
People give into peer pressure because they want to fit in with the group that is pressuring them to do something.
Some teenage girls make themselves look like slappers for different reason. For most of these teenage girls it is as a result of peer pressure and trying to fit in.

Boys are more likely to be bullied more at school because they do what their bully tells them to do. This is an example of bullying peer pressure. Peer pressure normally ends up doing things that you know are wrong or that you don't think you like.

Being secure with yourself and your feelings, opinions and emotions will assist you in preventing some peer pressure from having an influence on you. But with that said, you will never be able to fully escape peer pressure and this includes even when you are past your teenage years. You will have to try and detour peer pressure even into the adult "keeping up with the Jone's" stage of life. Maintaining confidence and pride in yourself at all stages of your life will help you immensely however to feel the need to give in to most forms of peer pressure.
