The Rosetta Stone was found by Napoleon's troops in Egypt during his campaigns there. It is famous because it had a text written on it that was written in Old Egyptian, New Egyptian and Greek. Before the Rosetta Stone, archaeologists had no way to figure out what what Old Egyptian hieroglyphs meant. With the Rosetta Stone, since they already knew Greek and New Egyptian, they could finally decipher the hieroglyphs.
The Rosetta Stone is the key to understanding the hieroglyphs. It has the same text written in Greek, Latin, and the hieroglyphs, allowing people to finally read hieroglyphs. Nice to know if you walk into a pyramid and the hieroglyphs say "touch this panel and die," and you can actually read that.
just like hieroglyphics, meroitic was translated using the Rosetta stone
It has been on display in the British Museum since 1802 I think
The Rosetta stone contains the same message in three different scripts.Greeka Greek Egyptian hybridthe ancient EgyptianBy this combination scholars were at last able to decipher ancient Egyptian.
I have never used Rosetta stone but i am guessing, that it might help. I am a fluent speaker of Spanish, because I was in a Spanish immersion school, or a school where all of your classes are in Spanish (besides English of course) but that took years. if you are persistent and really study then it would absolutely help. but if you are like me then no it wouldn't help. I have tried learning other languages on programs similar to Rosetta stone but its been really hard and didn't help much. i think it really depends on the kind of person you are.
no. i think the ash just buried the people alive to where they died from breathing in the ash. I'm not completely sure what happened to them but they did not turn to stone.
I think that Rosetta Stone is the same as all other language programs out there, like Baron's, for example. I have tried many language learning programs, but I think Rosetta Stone is by far the best out there. It may be expensive, but it is worth it in the end! :)

The Rosetta Stone is an ancient artifact that helped scholars decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics. In "To Kill a Mockingbird," Scout believes that Mr. Avery gets his information from the Rosetta Stone because he is known for making up stories and spreading rumors, much like the way the Rosetta Stone helped uncover hidden meanings. This is a playful and humorous way for Scout to express her skepticism about Mr. Avery's credibility.

im not so sure but i think shortly after it was found. and im not even sure if it was finished or already made.
yes it is. It's dimensions are 112.3cm long, 75.7cm wide and 28.4cm thick. I think it is very thick! Don't you?
Rosetta Stone...i think
I think it means 'I love my boys'....but don't count on that, I only just started on Rosetta Stone a few months ago....

I think you're thinking of the Rosetta Stone, which has only three languages on it, one being classical Greek, the others being two different forms of Egyptian hieroglyphics.
I think you need to use the one who comes with it if my memory serves me right.
because he believes that whenever bad weather occurs, it is the children's fault for their wrong-doings.
