Why do people waste so much time on love they know isn't going to happen?

Actually the reason is they don't know and so they take a chance on it and then when they become comfortable with that person it becomes harder to break away from them. Even though they may not have love between them there is still some feelings there. Love is but a game of chance and you never know until you try - then if it doesn't work you learn from that experience and take what you learned to the next one.
