Because they get cut off when they're 1-2 days old.
The tail is so short because the breed of Jack Russell's just have short tails.
All dogs are born with tails. (Except in special circumstances) The stumps that you see are from cropping, or cutting of the tail when the dog is a puppy. It is believed to give the dog a better look.
yes i have 2 jack russells and both of them have webbed feet.
If the apartment or condo is small then no. Jack Russells are very hyper little dogs and need lots of space to run around in. I have one and she is very hyper. So Jack Russells arent really good in apartments or condos.
im not even sure bats have tails. but if so short, very.
Since Jack Russells are the 13th fastest dog breed in the worl, I would say they are probably the fastest terrier. I know some one that has a Jack Russells and I have a Rat Terrier and my dog is faster. So i think that a Rat Terrier is the fastest.
yes normally they do but all dogs are different so it depends on your dog but they are fast swimers
Do you mean the Westminster Kennel Club show? If so, none have won Best In Show.
Only like MAD! Jack Russells are a very curious breed of dog, and they also grow very attached to their master, and therefore, live to protect it from any harm, so even if it hears the slightest sound, it will go nuts. My Jack Russell even barks when someone walks past my house, and has also scared away many postmans in her time by biting their hands when the deliever the post. It is mostly a good idea to keep Jack Russells in a quiet environment and a calm neighbourhood, otherwise they get very paranoid about anything, including unknown visitors to your home. Hope I Helped =)
yes but it is so short it can not be seen you wouldn't even be able to feel it
They were originally bred to hunt foxes and rabbits so the like forests and woods. Because Jack Russells are the product of selective breeding by humans, they technically don't have a "natural habitat" as the Jack Russell did not exist as a breed in the wild at any point in time.
Because they would cut off their tails when they were born so they wouldn't have many devolped blood vessels when they wouldn't get too long.
They don't, Pembroke Welsh Corgi's are born with out tails, if you see a corgi with a tail, you are looking at a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. They have big bushy tails, and Pembroke's have tails but there tails are small invisible nubs.
